Election day is now over. The Republicans held on to the Senate but unfortunately, the democrats ended up taking the house. But that’s ok. Historically, this is what happens during the mid terms. Although it isn’t the Presidential election, it did carry some importance just in terms of what Trump will be able to accomplish as we move forward.
As I mentioned yesterday, I fear (know) that all the democrats have to offer is obstruction to everything that is Trump. We have heard nothing else. They have not even offered to work with the President. But is that going to work? Watching the news here in New York at 5:32 am, I am hearing victory speeches and the theme is the same-we won the House and you guys better watch out.
Although promised by Billary, we should now see some civility in our politics. remember this:
“That’s why I believe, if we are fortunate enough to win back the House and or the Senate, that’s when civility can start again. But until then, the only thing that the Republicans seem to recognize and respect is strength.”
But we know Hillary. And we have seen the democrat party over the last two years and the way that they have acted. Do you really believe that it is possible for the democrats to act civilly? I’m sorry. We will not see any legislation coming from the left any time soon. Folks like Maxine Waters told us this, over and over and over:
All they know is “Resist.” The democrats now have moved further to the left than anyone would think. But that’s ok as well. This commitment to the hatred of Trump is going to what destroys them in 2020.
So what is the take away? Wait for more of the same and expect that it will only get worse. Democrats have proven that they have no idea how to act in a civil manner.
As always, if you are offended by this post or just don’t like what I have written…I don’t care.
