Biden’s Apology Tours Will Make Us Weak As A Nation

“So the record is clear: Rather than keeping us safer, the prison at Guantanamo has weakened American national security. It is a rallying cry for our enemies.”-Obama

“There is no senior partner and junior partner in our relations; there is simply engagement based on mutual respect and common interests and shared values. So I’m here to launch a new chapter of engagement that will be sustained throughout my administration.”-Obama

I thought that after eight years of the insanity of an Obama/Biden foreign policy debacle, we had turned a corner and re-assumed our rightful role as the leaders of the free world. Trump and his “America First” policy sent a very clear message to the rest of the world that we weren’t to be messed with and by all accounts, we weren’t. Four years where other shithole nations didn’t spend their time looking for ways to mess with us.

It was nice while it lasted. After four pretty decent years, we are back to being an apologist nation. The New York Times said that, “President Biden told leaders at the G-7 summit on Friday, the same day the U.S. reentered the Paris Agreement, that the days of “America First” diplomacy championed by former President Trump were over. Done in record time, the New York Post reported “that the “America First” era was over, and that, “Biden has swiftly dismantled Trump’s foreign policy agenda, which saw the U.S. withdraw from the WHO, the Paris Agreement and the Iran nuclear deal, which Trump believed were against the nation’s interests.” Biden said, “America is back, the trans-Atlantic alliance is back … we are not looking backward.” He stated, “We have to prove that our model isn’t a relic of history. We must demonstrate that democracies can still deliver for our people in this changed world. That is our galvanizing mission. Democracy doesn’t happen by accident. We have to defend it. Strengthen it. Renew it.”

Defend, strengthen and renew what? Apologizing for being a powerful nation? I don’t think so. Biden and the left just don’t get it that as the most powerful nation on the planet, we need to act like it. Kissing China’s ass and letting Iran walk all over us does nothing to help our situation. Many of the very same nations that pretend to like us when people like Biden are President are the ones who need to be shown a strong physical presence. They need to be shown that we won’t kowtow to countries like China and North Korea.

Let’s look at this realistically. When these countries need money, who do they come to? The United States. If they need military intervention, either through boots on the ground, or again money, who gets stuck with the bill? You got it. We do.

Well, I know that I am tired of the US bowing down to anyone. It was sickening to watch it for the eight years of Obama/Biden and even though it has only been a few weeks into his administration, Biden is showing us that he is already following the same course. Other nations do not see this as a partner building exercise. They see it is as a sign of weakness. Weakness as a country. When they see the US act like this, they feel as though they can try and take advantage of our good will.

It’s kind of like the teacher who never shows and type discipline and as a result they do what they want. That teacher will have no control over the class. They will keep pushing the line of what’s acceptable and what isn’t until something really bad happens. What happens next? They try to tell us how we should act, and the left will say that we need to change our behavior.

Well screw that. It’s bad enough that we let BLM and ANTIFA run amok with no thought of any kind of consequences. And this is idiots in our own country. We need to keep moving in the same direction that we were during the Trump administration. We need to stop handing out money to these worthless nations and expect nothing in return.

And lastly, we most certainly have to prevent our borders from becoming an open wound, the way it was during Obama/Biden.

So, this is where we are headed as a nation? Unfortunately for the next four years, yes.

Here is another example: Just think of Biden as a parent and all of the countries who have no respect for us as his spoiled children. He will let them keep getting away with shitty behavior because he believes that is the best way to gain their respect. But what do the children do? They keep acting worse and worse.

When Biden decides to crack down, his kids laugh at him because they know he is full of shit.

Just like I heard for four years, don’t blame me, I didn’t vote for this dope.

Here He Comes, Ready Or Not

“The Constitution shall never be construed to prevent the people of the United States who are peaceable citizens from keeping their own arms.”
– Samuel Adams

“They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.”
– Benjamin Franklin

“To disarm the people…[i]s the most effectual way to enslave them.”
– George Mason

It only took about a month, but here he comes. Slow Joe is coming for our guns. Of course, you have the left saying that it won’t be so bad, he is just going to put some “common sense” measures into gun ownership that haven’t been there before. I’m sorry, but with this topic, the left doesn’t have any common sense.

What the left doesn’t realize, or refuses to understand, is that right now, more guns are on the street than people in the country. If I am law abiding gun owner and I do everything that the government tells me to already, why are you going to make my life more difficult. The Second Amendment says nothing about the number of firearms that a person can own. Since no one accurately tell us what an “assault rifle” is, maybe they should stick with sending out COVID checks. And just for the record, the “AR” in AR-15, does not mean assault rifle. I saw that on a liberal station the other day and I couldn’t help but laugh.

Making guns more difficult to purchase does not make us safer, it just tightens a governmental noose around our neck with the hopes that we will have to jump through so many hoops to buy, let’s say, a shotgun, that we will give up.

Does anyone out there honestly believe that criminals actually go to a sporting goods store, wait in line, show their ID and wait for the governments background check? If you do, you are dumber than I thought. Many states already have laws in place that help guarantee our safety. I won’t divulge the number of weapons that I have, but suffice it to say that my house will be the wrong one to pick to rob on a cold snowy night. I had background checks done in every case and of course passed.

If Slow Joe signs into law that gun manufacturers can be held responsible for gun deaths, don’t we owe it to the automobile industry to do the same? The same logic applies. The car and the gun couldn’t and didn’t act on their own, an actual human being had to be operating both of them to either get in the accident or fire the weapon. My weapons have been stored and to my surprise when they have been left alone, they have never shot anyone. I am perplexed by this.

Stricter gun laws are just more ridiculous. You turn perfectly law abiding citizens into potential criminals. If you really want to do some good, go back to the pat and frisk days where weapons were taken off the streets and out of the hands of criminals. Offer some gun safety programs for new gun owners so we don’t have incidents like those idiots who confronted the terrorists of ANTIFA and BLM and of course the morons in the NFAC who found that it was easier to shoot themselves because they had no idea how to properly use a firearm.

Now, do we have people who should not have to go through gun training (unless they want a refresher)? Yes. Law enforcement, prior military and those who can demonstrate that they know how to safely operate a firearm.

Every new gun owner has the right to own a firearm, but with that right comes the responsibility to make sure they know how to use it.

But as we well know, the left will stop at nothing because they have proven that they do not believe in the constitution. They have already started stripping folks on the right of their first amendment rights, why would they stop there?

Defending Your Home? Be Smart And Be Safe

“Most gun control arguments miss the point. If all control boils fundamentally to force, how can one resist aggression without equal force? How can a truly “free” state exist if the individual citizen is enslaved to the forceful will of individual or organized aggressors? It cannot.”
― Tiffany Madison

“Disarming law-abiding citizens will not stop unlawful citizens from obtaining one.”
― Cliff Hannold

One of the more serious discussions I have with other preppers concerns the security of your home and property. The same questions come up time and again and unfortunately it is not an easy question to answer. The main question to me is do I need to protect what is mine, and the answer to that is without a doubt yes. When it comes to my house and my family in it, I will resort to every measure that I know of to keep them safe.

So, the question then becomes, Do I need to own a gun to protect my family? Again, I answer that with an unequivocal yes. Now remember, that is a decision that I made based on my personal life experiences and where I live. I can’t make a decision for you, but hopefully I will be able to point you in a direction that will enable you to make your own informed decision.

It is imperative that if you decide that you want to own a firearm to protect your life and liberty, you should search the internet to find out what the laws are in reference to how far you can legally go to protect you and your property. Many states, including mine (NYS), have what is referred to as a Castle Doctrine. I urge everyone out there who decides that protecting their home is important to become familiar with what their individual states say.

As strange as it may sound, if after reading the law, you don’t understand something, I would consult a lawyer for clarification. I am pretty sure that “I interpreted it this way” won’t hold up in any court and you don’t want to go to prison for ridding the world of some human excrement.

For example, “New York State also has a Castle Doctrine. The doctrine states that if a persons dwelling or occupied building is being invaded or burglarized, the occupant can use deadly force without a warning shot, calling 9-1-1, or a belief that the person is armed.” That sounds pretty straightforward, yes? It does, however, come with a caveat. NYS does not have a Stand Your Ground statute meaning that if someone is on your property you can shoot first and ask questions later. You have a legal duty to retreat if you can do so safely. Now if the person or persons then follows you into your home and you are under attack, as far as I am concerned, fire at will.

Once again, it is crucial that you consult the laws of the state that you live in to save yourself from any legal issues.

Here is a nice synopsis for those of us that live in NYS (NYC is a whole other topic):

NY’s Duty to Retreat and Castle Doctrine

New York State is also governed by a “duty to retreat.” This concept does not mean surrender; but rather, before you act in self-defense you must take reasonable actions to mitigate the risk of harm, which includes fleeing and calling the police. For example, you would have a duty to retreat if someone threatened violence while you dine in a public park. The duty to retreat is essentially the opposite of a “stand your ground law,” where you are not obligated to flee the scene if threatened.

But retreat may not always be possible or required. If you are in your home, for example, there is no duty to retreat if an aggressor intrudes and threatens physical harm. This concept is guided by the “castle doctrine,” a clause that typically refers to defending yourself inside your property. It ties to the old adage that “one’s home is his or her castle,” and they should not have to abandon it amid a threat. The key difference between the castle doctrine and stand your ground, is that the former takes place in private settings, like homes or businesses.

If an intruder entered your house and you used deadly force because you believed you were in danger, the castle doctrine may be applied after-the-fact, as part of your defense in court. It is not a license to kill and – taken a step further – does not “allow” you to harm anyone. For example: luring someone into your house, shooting them, and then claiming self-defense under the castle doctrine later will not exonerate you.

Tomorrow we will talk about the type of weapon you might want to consider having in your home.

The Death Of The Apology

“Would ‘sorry’ have made any difference? Does it ever? It’s just a word. One word against a thousand actions.”
― Sarah Ockler

“Sorry, always sorry. What in the world can you buy with an apology?”
― Marie Lu

“Never apologize, mister, it’s a sign of weakness.”
― John Wayne

I just finished reading an article on National Review entitled, The Humiliating Art of The Woke Apology. In the article, it alludes to the fact that a person who offended some group, institution or person got caught saying something let’s say 25 years ago would have been nothing. The author, Rich Lowry, shows us how the woke apology has evolved over time, becoming what it is now, which is nothing more than an embarrassing slew of words thrown together to appease someone, somewhere who thought who thought that they were being offended.

An excellent example from the article follows:

“A routine feature of over-the-top apologies is the vast gap between the alleged offense and the depths of the confessions of wrongdoing. The tone and content of many contemporary apologies might be appropriate if, say, Aaron Burr were expressing regret for shooting Alexander Hamilton, or if Andrew Jackson were coming to terms with the enormity of the Trail of Tears.”

In reading many of the offenses first, and then the response from the person who said it, I am often struck by the totality of the apology. You would think that the person was apologizing for a life consumed by actual hate crimes instead of refusing to use the proper pronoun when speaking about the freaks in the transgender world.

I believe that this type of thinking needs to stop. We supposedly live in a country where our freedoms are God given rights. More recently. The SJW’s and PC police have made it their business to shut anyone up who doesn’t agree with them. In the movie The Judge, the characters played by Robert Downey jr. and Robert Duvall get into an argument while driving back from the courthouse. The Judge insists that another son stop the car so he can get out.  Before Downey jr. exits the vehicle, he makes a statement to the effect that he wishes the Judge had died and not his mother. A short scuffle ensues and Downey jr. says to the two brothers in the front seats of the car, “What line were you two in when they were giving out testicles?” The third brother, who is slightly mentally challenged, then looks at the driver and very sincerely asks him, “What line were we in when they were giving out testicles?”

My point here is that both men and women need to grow a set. Everyone is so afraid of how these mindless cretins will respond that they immediately kowtow to the crazies and issue the most absurd apologies. Now I fully understand that these people often fear for their jobs, but by the point that they apologize, the job they had is already history. Then they are blacklisted. For people in many fields, it is then very difficult to find a new job.

I am at a point in my life where I am happily retired and refuse to play this stupid game of words. If I don’t agree with something, that is my God given right to do so. As long as I don’t hurt anyone, I can say and think what I want. The left needs to get it through their heads that just because I disagree with you does not make me white supremacist etc. It simply means I disagree with you.

Needless to say, you will never, ever hear or read any type of apology from me, unless, of course, it is mixed with a nice dose of sarcasm. For example, over the course of my years working in the Ossining UFSD, I had to deal with transgender kids. Most of them had underlying mental health issues and they all believed that everyone had to play along, or they would tell their guidance counselor, a building administrator or central administrator. Unfortunately, to get where I am today, I also had to play the game. Now I don’t have to play along. I can call it what it is.

So this is where we are. The death of the true apology. Anyone can utter some words or put out a statement, but what do those words mean? They truly mean nothing.

And this is how I will continue to operate. So please, spare me the histrionics of saying that I have to apologize, or that I am something evil if I don’t agree with you. I have been told that I should apologize for some of my posts. My reply to that is twofold: Screw off, and if you are truly waiting for an apology, you will be waiting a very, very long time.

Post Trump Derangement Syndrome

I did it again. After eight years of Obama and Biden, I thought that some civility would return to the left. I was wrong because it only got worse. After four years of Trump, I wasn’t as hopeful, but I still thought that since they got their way and Biden was elected, they would start to act like rational human beings. Needless to say, I fucked up again.

The fact that the left has decided that since they hated Trump, they can hate the people who voted for him equally as much is incredibly disturbing if not just downright crazy. Every day now you hear about plans to “out” Trump supporters for doing the unimaginable. They exercised their constitutional right to support a candidate who aligned with their views and values. The horror…

If you made or make the mistake of admitting that you in any way support Trump, you then enter the Delusion Zone of the left. I have found this to be an interesting place where the left goes to allow crazy to come to the forefront of everything, mostly including reasonable thought. It is the lefts ultimate safe space. It is where someone goes who is suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome. But I believe it should now be referred to as Post Trump  Derangement Syndrome, or at this point, you are just an idiot.

If you ever encounter someone on the left, just mention the name Trump. Or if you dare, utter the words “Make America Great Again.” The retreat to the Delusion Zone will almost be immediate. Eyes will glaze over, the anger and vitriol that comes next would shock even the most modest nun. For what you might ask? Because you dared to support the orange man. The same man who, until COVID, improved the economy to best it has been in decades. The lowest unemployment of pretty much every demographic group there is.

As I sit here thinking about it, I can’t believe that anyone would support him for that.

But the question still remains. Why would you be targeted for supporting a president who is no longer in office? The answer is pretty simple. They are afraid. They are afraid of the support that he gained over the four years he was in office. More Latinos and blacks voted for Trump in the 2020 election than for any other Republican in history.

They are afraid of the fact that the mean orange man would dare challenge a media system that hated him from day one. This has already been proven in the first two weeks of the Biden presidency. As I said before, this will be four years of “Boxers or briefs”?

For the left it is intellectually less difficult to immediately scream RACIST than it is to debate the issues with someone.

So again, why on earth would you waste precious brain cells and allow yourself to get aggravated over a man who isn’t even president anymore? Think about that. Kind of dumb.

Please put that in your pipe and smoke it.

Hypocritical Race Baiters

“But with white liberals overusing the word (racism) to influence elections because they can’t effectively argue the merit of an issue is weakening a very powerful tool to push back against real acts of racism.”― Kathy Barnette

“The Marxist maxim is ‘agitate, agitate, agitate’, and that is precisely what today’s reds are doing with race.”― Paul Kengor

I will admit that If anything, BLM has a giant set of balls. A big fat dangling set of hypocritical balls. Cori Bush, a member of the squad who aligns herself with the domestic terror group BLM, is now calling for the expulsion of over 100 Republicans from Congress because they contested the electoral college and the capitol riot. And as could be predicted, it’s all due to white supremacy.

BLM, lowering the bar of stupidity to new levels said that, “It is not enough to denounce the white supremacy behind the attack. We must remove its endorsers from Congress — Ted Cruz, Josh Hawley, Lauren Boebert, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and the over 100 Republicans who voted against certifying the electoral college.”

Now please, but isn’t this the same BLM that participated in riots for the last 8+ months with the cowards that make up ANTIFA? Still to this day, how many of those folks who support the violence of ANTIFA & BLM are the same people that feel the need to cry about Republicans and everything that they do?

The hypocrisy here is legendary. The fact that they continue to engage in violence and still have the unmitigated gall to accuse anyone of anything is stupefying.

But continue they will. They will scream racist and white supremacist until they are blue in the face and despite all evidence to the contrary.

I guess that it is easier to keep living a lie instead of facing the truth that they are race baiters and they subsist on ruining the lives of innocent people.

Psaki Is No Kayleigh McEnany

So, it appears that only two weeks into his administration, Joe Biden’s staff is prescreening Jen Psaki’s questions prior to press briefings. Even with this prescreening, she still has to “circle back” to some questions because they are too difficult for her to answer. My only real thoughts here are, if she knows the questions on advance, why would she need to “circle back” to answer them?

Seriously though, as much as they deny it and try to deflect from it, the lamestream media are a direct supporter of the democrat party. To see the proof all you have to do is watch the video of a Trump press conference and a Biden lovefest. The differences are very obvious and incredibly disturbing. It almost brings me back to the time of “boxers or briefs?”

In an article in the Daily Beast, it says that “the Biden administration’s actions have sparked a sense of paranoia among the White House press corps, whose members, like many reporters, are sensitive to the perception that they are coordinating with political communications staffers.” Of course. That is exactly what they are doing.

It also brings into question then whether Ms. Psaki is qualified for the job that she is doing. If she knows, or has an idea of what is going to be asked, and she can’t answer and has to “circle back” to that reporter, isn’t that a problem as well?

A White House correspondent said, according to the Daily Beast, “The press can’t really do its job in the briefing room if the White House is picking and choosing the questions they want, that’s not really a free press at all.”

It’s ok though. We all knew that this would happen. We lived through eight years of the media tossing up softballs for Obama and his press folks with virtually no difficult questions being asked. We now have Biden, who will undoubtedly only take friendly questions as will his press secretary Jen Psaki.

The media should do its job and treat the Biden administration with the same tenacity that they did Trump. That means real questions and no “circling back” because you can’t answer a question.

And just remember, Jen Psaki is no Kayleigh McEnany. That is a fact.
